Where exactly is the Apparthotel Bliem located?
The Apparthotel Bliem is situated in the centre of Rohrmoos, at Birkenweg 96, right in the heart of the Schladming-Dachstein skiing and hiking region. From here, it’s just a short walk to the 4-Mountain Ski Area, comprising Planai, Hochwurzen, Hauser Kaibling and Reiteralm, and there are magnificent views of the Dachstein.
What sizes of apartments are available?
The holiday flats and apartments offer comfortable accommodation for 2 to 5 people, some with double bedrooms. On the ‘Apartments & Prices’ page, you’ll find detailed information on the individual categories and can select the right accommodation for your group directly.
Are the apartments equipped with a kitchen?
Yes, every apartment has a kitchen with all the essentials you’ll need for your holiday: cutlery and crockery, a dishwasher, a kettle and a microwave are provided. There is no oven.

The kitchens are equipped with a hob, microwave, kettle, filter coffee machine, toaster, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, as well as crockery, pots and pans.
Where can I buy a ski pass?

Does the hotel have a ski room?
Yes, a ski room with a ski boot warmer is available for guests’ use.
Where can I park my bikes in the summer?
There is a lockable room in the building for bikes.

What are the bar/reception hours?
The reception team is available daily from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
When can I check in?
Your apartment will be available from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival.
What should I do if I’m arriving after 7:00 p.m.?
If you plan to arrive after 7:00 p.m., please let us know in advance.
Check-out: When do I need to check out on the day of departure?
On the day of departure, the apartments are reserved for you until 10:00 a.m.
Are there parking spaces at the hotel?
The hotel at Birkenweg 96 in 8971 Schladming-Rohrmoos is easily accessible on the Rohrmoos high plateau. Free parking spaces and a modern charging station for electric vehicles (EV charging) are available right at the property.
Is there a charging station for electric cars?
Yes, a charging station for electric cars is available.
Is there a tourist tax?
The tourist tax is €2.50 per person per night. Children up to age 15 are exempt from the tourist tax. Starting December 1, 2026, the tourist tax will be €2.80.
What payment options are available at the hotel?
Payment can be made in cash (EUR), by Maestro card, or via bank transfer.
What terms and conditions apply at Apparthotel Bliem?
All bookings and services provided by the hotel are subject to the hotel’s own terms and conditions, as well as the General Terms and Conditions for Hotel Accommodations (AGBH) 2006, as amended. By making a booking, you agree to these terms.
Should I purchase travel cancellation insurance?
Since unforeseen events may occur, we recommend purchasing travel cancellation insurance.
What are the cancellation policies?
Cancellations are free of charge up to 14 days before arrival. Starting 13 days before arrival, 100% of the total price will be charged.
Is there a minimum stay?
No, there is no minimum stay—stays are possible for as little as one night.
What’s the best way to get there?
The route via Schladming is very convenient and well-signposted. If you’re arriving by train, the taxi ride to the hotel takes about 6 minutes. If you’re arriving by plane, the drive from Salzburg Airport to Rohrmoos takes just over an hour. If you’re driving, you can easily find the route on Google Maps.

Does the aparthotel in Schladming also offer breakfast for apartment guests?
Of course! Even when booking a vacation apartment, you don’t have to forgo the comforts you’re used to at a hotel. The generous, regional breakfast buffet can be easily added to your reservation.
What time is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served daily from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
How much does breakfast cost?
Breakfast costs €18.00 per person for adults. It’s free for children up to age 5, and the price is €12.00 for children ages 5 to 12.
Can I order fresh pastries?
You’re welcome to order fresh pastries and sweet treats for the next day by 6:00 PM the evening before.
Pets
Are pets welcome at the Apparthotel Bliem?
Yes, pets are very welcome. Your four-legged companion may stay for an additional fee of €10.00 per night. Please notify us in advance. Food is not included in the price.
What are the rules for dogs?
- Dogs must be kept on a leash in public areas
- No pets allowed on hotel beds
- Do not leave pets unattended in the room
An additional fee may be charged if extra cleaning is required.

What is the AQUA Vital Island?
The AQUA Vital Island is the hotel’s wellness area, featuring an indoor pool, sauna, infrared cabin, and relaxation area.
When is the AQUA Vital Island open?
The indoor pool is open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The sauna is available in winter from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The infrared cabins can also be used from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Does the Apparthotel Bliem offer vacation apartments with direct access to the indoor pool?
Yes, guests staying in the vacation apartments in Schladming-Rohrmoos enjoy the convenience of direct access from their apartment to the “AQUA Vital Insel” wellness oasis. The heated indoor pool is free for all apartment guests and offers a magnificent view as well as direct access to the sunbathing lawn.

In addition to the indoor pool, the AQUA Vital Insel also features a Finnish sauna, a relaxation room, and an infrared heat cabin. This allows you to combine the privacy of your own apartment with the benefits of a wellness hotel.
Do I have to pay extra for the sauna?
No, the entire AQUA Vital Insel, including the sauna area, is included in the stay for hotel guests and can be used free of charge.

Are the vacation apartments at Apparthotel Bliem equipped for a vacation with children?
Yes, the accommodations are perfectly suited for families. The kitchens feature modern appliances such as a dishwasher, microwave, and coffee maker. For children, there is an indoor playroom as well as a playground where they can run around and have fun.
Are there indoor recreational activities for children at the hotel?
The hotel has a playroom. It features, among other things, a foosball table, a play kitchen, and a reading corner.
Are there outdoor recreational activities (in the summer) for children at the hotel?
Apparthotel Bliem has a large sun terrace with play facilities such as table tennis, a swing, a slide, scooters, and go-karts.

Where is the nearest bus stop?
The “Rohrmoos Dorf” bus stop is 300 meters away. The ski bus takes guests quickly and comfortably directly to the Hochwurzen lifts or to downtown Schladming. In the summer, the hiking bus is available free of charge.
Where is the nearest place to shop?
The Sieder department store is located in downtown Rohrmoos. In Schladming, the Spar, Billa, Hofer, and Penny supermarkets offer additional shopping options.
Where can I do my laundry?
In Schladming—about 3.5 km away—is the laundromat “d’ Wosch-Kuchl,” where you can do your laundry.
Where can I enjoy a nice meal?

Which ski area or ski run is nearby?
The Apparthotel Bliem is located right next to ski run No. 37 and offers the perfect access point to the Planai & Hochwurzen ski area. Through our ski rental partner “Ski Lenz,” you also have the option of secure storage for your ski equipment.
Can you ski directly from the hotel?
Yes—when snow conditions are good, the Apparthotel is directly accessible on skis. In addition, the slopes of Hochwurzen, Planai, Reiteralm, and Hauser Kaibling are just a few minutes away.
Are there any cross-country skiing trails nearby?
Yes, the trails in Untertal and Ramsau am Dachstein are nearby and offer excellent conditions for both recreational and competitive cross-country skiers.
Is there night skiing or night tobogganing in the region?
Yes, the Schladming-Dachstein region also offers evening activities such as night skiing and night tobogganing on the illuminated Hochwurzen natural toboggan run.
Is the Schladming-Dachstein Card included?
Yes, from May through November, all guests receive the Schladming-Dachstein Card. Please note that the card is valid starting at 1:00 PM on the day of arrival.
How do I get the Schladming-Dachstein Card?
The card can be obtained in advance in digital form or on-site as a printed copy.
Is the Apparthotel Bliem a good choice for a biking vacation in Schladming?
Absolutely. The Schladming-Dachstein region offers ideal conditions for mountain bikers and e-bikers. Bicycles can be stored securely in the lockable bike room.
Which golf courses are nearby?
The Leading Golf Club Schladming Dachstein is approximately 8.6 km away, and the Radstadt Golf Club is approximately 22.5 km away.
Does the hotel offer any special perks for a golf vacation in Styria?
Yes, the hosts—Elisabeth, Wolfgang, and Christina—are avid golfers themselves. They’re happy to provide on-site advice and tips about the nearby Dachstein-Tauern Golf & Country Club, as well as other partner golf courses in the area.

The nearest tennis court is about 1.4 km away.
What hiking trails are available from the hotel?
The stop for the regional hiking bus is just a 5-minute walk away. Numerous hiking trails start right outside the front door.
What summer activities are available in Rohrmoos besides hiking and biking?
Horseback riding lessons are offered in the immediate vicinity of the Angererhof. In addition, the mountain go-kart track at Hochwurzen is about 2 km away. The Schladming water park is about a 25-minute walk away. Our staff is happy to provide information on other recreational activities.
